Reid’s Yellow Dent Corn
$3.00
This heirloom dent corn is quite possibly the most popular dent corn ever planted! Its productivity, dependability, and adaptability are results you can expect year after year. In the late 1800’s, it became the first 100+ bushel per acre producer on record. Stalks will reach 6-7′ tall with 9-10” long ears. While the dark red cob is small, it boasts 16-22 rows filled with long, tapered yellow kernels. Multiple uses include flour, meal, and animal feed with quality silage as an option. This variety will do well in southern heat and soils.
