Italian Large Leaf Basil

This annual, culinary basil loves the sun, is slow to bolt, and is slightly sweeter than other Genovese basil types. Plants grow 1-2′ tall with large, medium dark green leaves that can reach 4″ in length. Flower colors can be pink, purple, or white. A great taste enhancer to all Italian dishes including pesto, pizza, and even open faced grilled cheese sandwiches. Medicinal use excellent for digestive system.
