Fordhook Giant Swiss Chard

One of the most popular Heirloom chards grown by gardeners for over 75 years. Grows well in cold weather conditions and is quite heat tolerant making it a high yielding, hardy grower throughout the entire growing season. Broad, celery-style, white stems are nicely tender and savoy leaves are large, crinkled, and dark green. Overall plant height is 22-28 inches tall. Fordhook is flavor loaded and filled with vitamins/minerals, making it a great salad and vegetable dish addition.
