Delicata Bush Winter Squash (Certified Organic)

A long peanut-shaped squash with a cream colored, green striped, thin outer skin and a golden, fine-textured, inner flesh. An open pollinated favorite due to its corn/sweet potato flavor. Compact BUSH variety of 4-6′ diameter that will grow fruits up to 12” long that weigh as much as 2 lbs. Pick when stem dries up and starts to crack and “cure” (set out at 75-85 degrees for 10-14 days before eating). Leave 1-2″ of stem on fruit for best storage. “Bake it and stuff it.
