Bull’s Blood Beet

An 1840’s heirloom that is doubly-delicious! Its deep red burgundy leaves are sweet and tender. Pick the leaves young for an incredible salad mixer! The beets themselves, when picked at the 2-3″ size, have a great sweet taste. Plants may reach up to 2′ tall for an eye-catching garden ornamental. Tolerant to heat as well as cool temperatures.
