The southern Missouri Ozarks is home to us. The Lord lead our family to these foothills and since then our hearts have never left. For a long time, we were ignorant of the blessings of growing our own food. We let the world's cunning conveniences attempt to supply what we needed.

Naturally, in the end, it left much to be desired.

The taste, quality, and downright worth of store-bought food does not compare to any homegrown harvest. With each season, we've been learning that a little more. Upon our hilltop, we farm and garden on a daily basis. And like most folks, we've found that there ain't ever enough time in the day. We love what we do, however, and consider ourselves blessed to – not only live here – but work here as well.

Our store rests in the creek valley of our property. For the past year we have been working and preparing to open our White Harvest Seed Company. Your families, as well as ours, must be provided for. We must sow for our children. That is the ultimate hope behind every seed we sow or sell. After all, the backbone of every garden is the hope of provision, is it not?

Our dream is to share that joy of harvest and encourage others to plant a garden – be it ten acres or just one container.  Preserve tomorrow by growing today. Every aspect of gardening is meant to be enjoyed - from start to finish. If your heart is there, you'll soon discover quite a wonderful world to be had in planting your own food.

Our garden, as well as our family, continues to grow with each season. Our lives changed dramatically when our eyes were opened to the truth of what's missing down your average line in the grocery store. There's no way to go back now and we couldn't be more grateful to know it. Providing life's necessities produces appreciation that can never be bought. It's not just the way it once was, but the way it should still be. The moment we realized that... we knew what we wanted to do... and that's why we're here.
